The Ministry of Communications (Mincom) has opened a new call for projects for the Cybersecurity Sector Program, which has been implemented since 2021 and is managed by SEGURMÁTICA, which belongs to the Cuban IT and Communications Business Group (GEIC - Spanish acronym).

The general objective of the Program is:

To obtain scientific, technological and innovation results to strengthen the country in terms of cybersecurity, as part of the digital transformation strategy, through the materialization of research projects in the field of ICT security.

The following are the important dates to be met for the submission of the projects:
• Call start date: March 15, 2023.
• Deadline for submission of project fiches (Annex 3): April 22, 2023.
• Date of presentation of the results of the evaluation of the projects by the experts (Annex 7): May 12, 2023.

The project forms (Annex 3) will be sent to the following e-mail address: ciberseguridad.pscti@mincom.gob.cu.
