Graduated as a Telecommunications Engineer in 1991 at the Higher Polytechnic Institute "Julio Antonio Mella ISPJAM" in Santiago de Cuba. In 2015, she obtained a Diploma in Public Administration at the Higher School of State and Government Officials.

Her professional work has been linked to the communications sector from 1991 to the current date, with different responsibilities: technician, head of Communications, inspector, supervisor, general specialist, senior specialist, director of Telecommunications and director of Inspection.

Currently she has been appointed Director General of Communications of the Ministry of Communications.
