Graduated from the “José Antonio Echeverría” Superior Polytechnic Institute of Havana as a Telecommunication Engineer. She started her broad work life at the “13 de Marzo’’ Telephone Enterprise. In 1995, she took over managerial positions at the Cuban Telecommunications Enterprise (ETECSA). In November, 2013 she was promoted to Communications General Director of the Ministry of Communications. In April, 2016 she was appointed Deputy Minister of Communications.

In addition to her work experience, she is a member of the Cuban Communist Party; she has also participated in several national and international. She was part of the tribunals of a Forum of the Cuban Telecommunications Enterprise. Other important events in which she participated were Global Radio Communications Conference, Global Conference on Telecommunications Development, World Meeting on Telecommunication Standards, among other activities. Moreover, she obtained a significant award at the 5th Science Forum, and she was acknowledged as an outstanding ETECSA official in 2007.
