September turns out to be a month rich in history that summons the workers of the Ministry of Communications for the realization of a special morning activity, as a homage to the heroes and martyrs who participated in the uprising of September 5th, 1957, in Cienfuegos and other events that took place in the rich revolutionary history of Cuba.

With the projection of a spot about the Computer and Electronics Joven Club we joined the day of celebration of the 32nd anniversary of the Joven Club, an entity that was created on September 8th, 1987 by initiative of our Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro Ruz, with the objective of contributing to the socialization of technologies and the computerization of society. On that day Fidel, with the future vision that characterized him said: "Joven Club for factories, for institutions and popular Joven Club, because these are the ones who are there next to the neighbors, this is the family doctor, the family computer."

The occasion was favorable to recognize the entities and organizational units, as well as the parents and workers who supported and made possible the realization of the vacation plan, during July and August; action that was well received by the children and their parents and that was possible thanks to the effort and the participation of many for their amusement.

The Director of Organization and Human Resources of UAS Communications, Belkis Hernandez Garcia, introduced the new workers and the trainees. Congratulations to all of them and welcome to the Ministry.

The workers who were celebrating their birthdays last August were wished all the best!

A moment of special significance was the handing over of the party membership card to six workers. Comrade Ebert Silva, secretary of the Committee of the Cuban Communist Party, in his words to the new militants expressed: "Those men and women that we have just presented arise from the bosom of a group of workers, like ours characterized by the human quality of its members, their sense of belonging and their unrestricted support to our revolutionary process.

The morning event organized by the union section number 6 was presided over by the Minister of Communications, Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella; Ebert Silva, Secretary of the Committee of the Cuban Communist Party; Anays Ofarrill Veranes, Secretary of the Base Committee of the Young Communist League and Miritza Pérez Romero, Acting Secretary of the Union Bureau.

The vice-ministers and the other officials of the organization also participated along with the whole staff of workers.
