


On April 13, Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella, minister of Communications, along with Ruben Remigio Ferro, president of the People's Supreme Tribunal, witnessed a trial at the Provincial Tribunal of Havana, which took place through video-conference with the goal of keeping on with the strengthening of e-Government in the Cuban judiciary system to the benefit of citizens and institutions.
During the visit to the Provincial Tribunal of Havana, the Minister of Communications was able to verify how prioritized is the computerization of processes and services in the tribunals system and he also expressed his support for that program.
The experiences of the System of the People's Tribunals in the use of ICTs to benefit citizens are positive and encouraging and they will still be improved with the help of the Communications Ministry so that we are able to realize the ideas of Martí when he said that we should "regard justice as we regard the highest of palm trees."
