Minister of Communications meets with Etecsa workers

On March 3, the Minister of Communications, Mayra Arevich Marín, accompanied by the president of Etecsa, Tania Velázquez Rodríguez; the director of the Havana branch and other executives, visited the work in progress at the 70 and 23 Minipoint of the Cuban Telecommunications Company (ETECSA). During the visit, they exchanged with the delegate of the district of the Buena Vista Popular Council on issues related to the services to be offered and their benefits for the population.

The Minister of Communications visited the La llave Community Mall, located in the Cerro municipality, where she spoke with the workers.

Mayra Arevich Marín, checked the renovation of the Minipunto located inside the Shopping Mall and the services it provides. In the meeting with officials and workers, she discussed the use of digital payments, QR codes and the new version of Transfermóvil. She emphasized the importance of promoting these facilities provided by the Transfermóvil application to the population.

At the end of the visit she went to the First Local Development Fair of Old Havana, accompanied by the mayor, Alexis Acosta Silva. The Fair is oriented to the work of all the economic actors of the municipality that contribute to the economic and social development of the locality, with a varied offer of products belonging to innovative community projects, with affordable prices, the use of payment by QR was appreciated.  The Digital Havana Project was also discussed.
