On his Twitter account, the Communications Minister, Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella, stated: “For communication workers the #PrimeroDeMayo (Labor Day) is a tribute to unity, to the love for our Motherland, and to our commitment with the Revolution and the People. This year, we will celebrate it from our houses, but in our feelings will be the strong conviction that: #ViviremosYVenceremos ” (We will live and be victorious).

As every year, the Communicators will be attending Labor Day Celebrations. From our homes, we will pay tribute to Cuban health services workers and to the great heroes of the battles against the new coronavirus. We will continue to defend the legacy of the Historic Leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, in view of the 20th anniversary of the Revolution concept given by him on May 1st, 2000.

This May 1st will be an appropriate day to continue demanding the lifting of the economic, financial and commercial blockade established against Cuba by the USA almost six decades ago.

“Por Cuba, Unidos Venceremos” (For Cuba, united, we will be victorious).

¡Viva el Primero de Mayo! (Hail Labor Day!)
