oven Club participates in the virtual event "Accessible Americas." This third edition of the event focuses on the importance of promoting accessibility policies, and creating fair and equitable opportunities.

Joven Club participates as an entity that facilitates accessibility and the inclusion of people with disabilities, making the most out of the potential of ICTs as a source of motivation and encouragement to learn and accomplish greater social welfare and life quality levels.

The general director of Joven Club, Pablo Julio Pla Feria, in his speech at the "Accessible Americas" international event, portrayed the experiences of that entity when designing programs that focus on contributing toward social development and introducing technologies to people with disabilities in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As part of the "Accessible Americas" event, Bruno Ramos, Regional Director for the Americas Regional Office, belonging to the ITU (International Telecommunication Union), spoke about "The global crisis of the pandemic and ICTs for the benefit of people with disabilities."

"Accessible Americas" seeks to socialize experiences from each of the countries of the continent, under the principle of appropriating ideas and tools to make technology a way to improve the living conditions of each person regardless of the development of each nation.
