The Cuban Institute of Radio and Television (ICRT) and the State Administration of Radio and Television of China signed a collaboration agreement today in Havana.

The text, signed by the president of the ICRT, Alfonso Noya, and the head of the State Administration of Radio and Television of China, Nie Chenxi, will allow the broadcasting of content from both parties in each other's country.

As part of the ceremony, Nie presented Noya with a drone donated to the Cuban television system, as well as the original tapes of a group of Chinese audiovisuals  to be broadcast in Cuba.

Likewise, a segment of the documentary "Xi Jinping: China's Governance", which will later be broadcast on Cuban Television, was premiered.

Cooperation in this sector between the two nations began in 2013, when Cuba began a gradual process of introducing digital television, thanks to a loan and technical assistance provided by Beijing.
