The entities of the communications sector in Camagüey are getting ready to begin the process of accountability before the National Assembly of the People's Power (ANPP) next December with responsibility and attached to the criteria of the population.

At a press conference, the director of the Territorial Control Office representing the Ministry in the province, Andrés Rodríguez Pérez, explained how the communication program was conceived and the work strategies with the objective of informing the impact of the infrastructure of the guild.

He also highlighted the results and responses to the demands of the people and the prospects for solutions, as well as the commitment and positive experiences in a sector that does not escape the effects of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the U.S. government on Cuba.

In the assembly process of each municipality, he said, the work for the period 2021-2022 will be explained and the strengths of the different entities that make up the sector will be shared in those spaces, such as the preparation of human resources and technological infrastructure.

Likewise, he affirmed, the dissatisfactions will be recognized, the perspectives of solution whenever possible and which are guaranteed by the investment process of the province, in a complex economic context where the country is betting on the informatization of the society.

During the meeting Rodríguez Pérez recognized the leading role of Correos de Cuba, the company of Computer Applications (Desoft) and the Telecommunications Company of Cuba (Etecsa), all with a commitment to digital services.

In the final minutes of the meeting, Beatriz Rodríguez, deputy to the ANPP, stressed that a process involving the actors of the system and the people is foreseen to detect and offer possible solutions to the problems in the communications sector.
