The workers of the Ministry of Communications, commemorated this June 14 the 174 anniversary of the birth of Antonio Maceo Grajales and 91 of the Commander Ernesto Guevara de la Serna.

The morning organized by the union section No.2, paid tribute to two great, who coincidentally were born on the same day, in distant times, the Che and the Bronze Titan, united in ideas and courage in favor of the independence of Cuba.
 
The space was propitious to highlight another of the efemerides of the month to be celebrated, the Day of the Parents. This Sunday June 16 will be the first year in which many new parents will receive a hug and congratulations for the joy of having brought a child to the world. One more year for yours, for mine, for grandparents, uncles and relatives who during their lives have heard from their children the word (DAD), for all, Congratulations!

In the activity the Secretary of the Trade Union Bureau welcomed the workers who joined the organization and as usual, congratulations were given to the colleagues who are celebrating their birthday this June.

The director of Cuadros, Alejandro Campillo Acosta, reported the latest movements of cadres in the Ministry: promoted Carlos Ignacio Hernández Biosca, Director General of OSRI. Promoted to Lázaro Riestra Ledón, to the Department of Insurance and General Services / UAS. For both managers: Many congratulations and successes in the assigned task!
 
Special moment was the delivery of the card as a militant of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) to Alberto Garcia Tosca, senior specialist of the Directorate of Computerization.

Gilberto Torres member of the secretariat of the PCC Nucleus mentioned the new income to the Party they are: Leslie Carrodeguas Rodríguez, Jessie Perera León and Daylyn González Vega.

With the screening of the audiovisual material ¨El país que queremos¨, those present reaffirmed the unconditional support and defense of the social project that Cubans have built and that we will continue to strengthen. For a socialist, sovereign, participatory country, faithful to its history and defender of its identity, the President of the Councils of State and of Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, during the exchange with the vice-presidents of the organs of the Provincial Administration of the special municipality Isla de la Juventud.

The Minister of Communications updated the workers on the main tasks of the month, in which the body exercises its leading role and in which they are working to continue advancing in the computerization of society.
