La Presidenta del Gupo Empresarial de Informatica y Comunicaciones, Grisel Reyes León es promovida a Viceministra de Comunicaciones de Cuba.

Como Presidenta del GEIC es nombrada Ariadne Plasencia Castro que anteriormente se desempeñaba Vicepresidenta del Grupo.
