On the eve of the second anniversary of the demise of the Commander-in-Chief of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, the workers of the Ministry of Communications participated in a special morning activity, prepared by the Unit of Assurance and Services of the Ministry. This homaging ceremony took place on Friday, November 23rd, at the Luis Augusto Turcios Lima theater hall. The tribute ceremony to the Historical Leader of the Cuban Revolution started with a dancing performance of "Cabalgando con Fidel" by the ballerina Liana Talia Rodriguez, from the Acosta Danza Company. It must be highlighted that the projection of the audiovisual ''Aqui Estamos", produced by the journalist Gladys Rubio, conveyed strong feelings to the audience. This material portrayed the political and military ideals of the Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro. The activity continued with the performance of the following songs by the Cuban Singing School "Mariana de Gonitch": Su nombre es pueblo; Cualquier lugar es mi tierra; Revolucion, and La Victoria. The occasion concluded with every worker offering a flower as a tribute to the Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro. This event was presided over by the Minister of Communications, Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella; and the First Vice Minister, Wilfredo Gonzalez Vidal. In addition, General and Ministerial Directors, the General Secretary of the Communist Party Committee, the General Secretary of the Cuban Young Communist League, and members of the Work Bureau, also attended this ceremony.
