On Tuesday, November 27th, 2018 the 8th Workshop on Citizen Services, Customer Protection, Institutional Communication, and Quality from the Ministry of Communications, CALIPROT 2018, was inaugurated in Havana at the Miramar Trade Center, which is the seat of this event. The workshop's sessions will last until Friday, November 30th. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Elsa Aguero Escobar, and Wilfredo Hernandez Perez who are both officials of the Ideological Department of the Cuban Communist Party's Central Committee. The opening remarks were pronounced by Raul Antonio Capote Fernandez, Director of the Institutional Communication Directorate of the Ministry of Communications. CALIPROT is an ideal space for socializing good practices, reflecting, and sharing experiences from an integrated perspective, and contributing to the improvement of the integrated management of processes, focused on citizens, generated in the environment of telecommunications, postal services, and ICTs; in the public, entrepreneurial, and private sectors. It is also an appropriate context for management collaboration through the intensive usage of ICTs from a civic approach.   "Customer protection systems, warrantors of the rights and duties of consumers and suppliers", is the official motto of this event.
