The World Summit Awards are a unique awards system that selects and promotes local digital innovation with a high social impact. It combines several international events and activities with a global network of arising companies, social entrepreneurs, mentors, juries, presenters, experts, governmental leaders, scholars, and civil society. WSA is an international platform for avant-garde innovative approaches that make an impact on
society.

There are no limitations regarding the platforms of the projects that are presented: digital solutions, apps, web pages, games, applications repository, software solutions.

Eligibility

1. Every company, organization or individual from every member of the
United Nations and UNESCO is encouraged to apply.

2. The Juvenile Category ''Innovation for the SDG" is limited to
projects started and executed by people who are less than 26 years old from
any of the member States of UN and UNESCO.

Application process

WSA is an awards system based on nomination. The project must be
registered on the platform: https://db.icnm.net/Signup/WSA/2020/

Application deadline: August 31, 2020

You must create a user on this platform and then carry out
the registering process of the project.

The WSA national expert will only nominate one (1) national digital application
in each one of the 8 categories. Each country can only
propose one project per category.
