Workshop on Prevention and Internal Control of the Communications System

On July 5, the First Workshop on Prevention and Internal Control of the Communications System was held at ETECSA's theater, with the presence of the First Deputy Minister of Communications, Wilfredo González Vidal, and the participation of the business and budgeted system.

The space was favorable to exchange ideas and discuss the actions carried out in the organizations of the communications system related to the confrontation of indiscipline, illegalities, crimes and corruption.

During the workshop, several initiatives were shared to improve the work system related to the fight against these issues, such as: the use of videoconferences, cooperation minutes, consensus between the PCC, unions and management, the use of social communication, a values colloquium, risk exercises, accountability processes, the use of the QR code, digital payment of postal stamps, prevention and control committees, cashback services, safety and security, always getting workers to be involved, among others.

The First Deputy Minister of Communications, Wilfredo González Vidal, wrote on his official Twitter account about the workshop: "We held the First Workshop with all the stakeholders of the system to exchange on effective actions to fight crime, corruption and illegalities in our system, it is remarkable how much we can still do with the use of technology! #Cuba
