The Women at MINCOM celebrate their day

An activity for International Women's Day was held at the Ministry of Communications (Mincom) Theater.

Chaired by Mayra Arevich Marín, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and Minister of Communications, Mirtha Ramos, Director of Institutional Communications of Radio Cubana, Cecilia Valdés, General Secretary of the PCC Base Committee, Yanet Toledo, General Secretary of the MINCOM Union Bureau and Anays Oarrill Veranes, General Secretary of the UJC Base Committee of the Mincom.

Also present were deputy ministers, managers and workers of the Central Organ, the UAS Communications and the Management and Communications Centers.

The activity, carried out within the centenary of Radio Cubana, served as a platform for the exchange of acknowledgements between Radio Cubana and the Ministry, for the close relationship between the entities throughout their history, for their constancy and dedication to the service of the people and the Revolution.

The new workers joining the different directorates were presented, as well as the work of outstanding militants in the activities carried out by the entity's Base Committee.

Arevich Marín concluded the activity by congratulating the workers and expressed his confidence in the women of the sector, as well as praising their dedication, capacity for self-improvement and innovation.
