The Regional Strategic Forum of the Universal Postal Union for the Caribbean  Began on June 24th with the presence of M. Bishar Hussein, General Director of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) and Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella, Minister of Communications of Cuba. This Forum, sponsored by the Correos de Cuba Business Group, will review important matters for the future of universal postal services.

This Forum will be taking place on June 24th and 25th, at the Parque Central Hotel in Havana. The event aims at joining criteria and conciliating interests between the UPU and the member countries of the Caribbean Postal Union (CPU) in view of the Congress of the Universal Postal Union that will take place in Côte d'Ivoire in 2020.
