This June 14, the workers of the Ministry of Communications paid tribute to Maceo and Che. Two extraordinary men, faithful and loyal to their principles, each one in the historical moment that corresponded them to live: Maceo during the emancipation struggle against the Spanish army, and Che in the insurrectional struggle in the Sierra Maestra and in other circumstances, understood that his commitment was beyond Cuba and went to fight on brotherly soil.

The homage ceremony was an appropriate occasion to deliver the recognition of the party organization to comrade Jorge Ayala Márquez, who concluded his task as a member of the leadership of the PCC Committee, with excellent results. Cecilia Valdés Milián, General Secretary of the PCC Committee, presented the award.

A special moment for the directors of the organization was the signing of the commitment to comply with the Code of Ethics of the Cadres of the Cuban State. Yoanna García Molina, Legal Director of the Ministry of Communications read out the commitment, which highlights: We commit ourselves to comply with the values and ethical principles that have been consolidated through the most advanced national tradition, signifying the legacy of our Heroic Guerrilla, that: "Intimately linked to the concept of cadre is the capacity for sacrifice, demonstrating in one's own example the truths and slogans of the Revolution..."
Yamile Benítez, member of the Union Bureau, presented the workers who have birthdays in this month of June, to all of them Congratulations!

From Che we also learned that, with 23 years old, on a motorcycle and together with a friend you can travel around South America, you can study, work and make Revolution. The workers of the Ministry thanked the effort made by the management of the agency to acquire the first batch of electric motorcycles that have been assigned to a group of young people and workers of the central body, the UAS Communications and the TCOs for the performance of their duties.

Maceo and Che are also examples of loving and respectful sons, passionate husbands, devoted and affectionate fathers, patriotic defenders of the family and the Patria Grande, so let the legacy of both be used to entertain the fathers of the Ministry of Communications who next Sunday will celebrate Fathers' Day together with their families.
