A Tribute to the Leader of the Cuban Revolution, Forever Fidel

On November 25, 2019, the workers of the Cuban Ministry of Communications remembered the leader of the Cuban Revolution. This year is the third anniversary of the death of the Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro Ruz.

Fidel conceived and organized the Revolution. He led it, fought, and made it succeed. Besides, he rescued the dignity of the country and forged an emancipatory work like no other before. He decisively confronted imperialism, he grew up with his people and for many reasons, he will always be present among us.

It is worth mentioning the emotion transmitted to those present by the projection of the audiovisual "Homage to the Commander in Chief", which gathers Fidel's political and military ideas as well as the moments of glory of our homeland, showing how his thoughts prevail and continue to be valid.

"Donde te encontré", a song by Pablo Milanés, was performed by the singer Alejandro Núñez, as a tribute to Fidel.

The homage organized by the union section No.5 of the organization took place in the theater Luis Augusto Turcios Lima and was presided over by the Minister of Communications, Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella; and the member of the National Union (SNTCIE), Rebeca Brau, Fernandez.

The Vice-Ministers of Communications; General and Ministerial Directors; the General Secretary of the Party Committee; the General Secretary of the Young Communists League of Cuba and members of the Union Bureau; as well as the workers of the Central Organ and Logistics also attended the event.
