In the Theater Hall of the Ministry of Communications, the workers of the institution paid a well-deserved tribute to National Hero José Martí, on the 169th anniversary of his birth.

Martí became immortal for his teachings, those that endure in the present generations and constitute an accurate guide for future generations that will endorse the historical continuity of the Revolution and the important conquests achieved.

From Martí we learned that death is not true when the work of life has been well accomplished. The space was propitious to pay tribute to our dear comrade Héctor Alea García, specialist of the ministry's Postal Services Department, who passed away on January 26, 2022, victim of a heart attack.  Alea dedicated his life to the Communications sector, in particular to the Postal activity, being one of the most outstanding professionals of the sector in this activity. Those of us who shared with him years of work and unlimited dedication to our organization and to the Revolution, know of his high skills, his talent to teach the youngest, his ability to analyze complex problems and come up with effective solutions, his nice personality, his kindness, his eternal smile, his devotion to his family, friends and colleagues, to whom we convey our deepest condolences. The son of our Alea received, from the hands of the Minister of Communications, Mayra Arevich Marin and Vice Minister Ana Julia Marine Lopez, beautiful flowers and our commitment to honor Hector with our thoughts and actions.

The Minister of Communications and the General Secretary of the Nucleus of the PCC No.5 gave the card that accredits as a militant of the PCC to the young Yindra Batista Tamayo, of the nucleus 5 and the Audit Direction.
An emotional moment was the declamation of the poem "La Niña de Guatemala" by José Martí, in the voice of Lesi Mederos, UAS worker and member of the Club Martiano del Mincom.

On this beautiful January 28th, when we also commemorate the 90th Anniversary of the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba, Yoandra Hernandez, Director of Human Capital introduces the new workers.

Anays O'Farrill Veranes, General Secretary of the Base Committee of the UJC presents the activities that will be carried out during the year 2022 by the Martiano Clubs of the Mincom to reach the 170th Anniversary of the Birth of Martí in 2023 and the Communication Campaign to greet the anniversaries of the UJC.
