Solidarity meeting at the Central Palace of Computer Science and Electronics for the celebration of May 1st

The Minister of Communications, Mayra Arevich Marín, accompanied by several directors of the agency, participated today in the international meeting of solidarity with Cuba that took place at the Central Palace of Computer Science and Electronics as part of the celebrations for the International Workers' Day.

The Minister of Communications spoke to those present about the creation of Joven Club by our Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro Ruz. In her words she highlighted the impact of the Joven Clubs and all the entities of the sector in the process of digital transformation.

To welcome them to Cuba, the head of the Communications sector expressed: "We are sure that you are going to meet a friendly Cuba that has a great desire to work".

She emphasized, "We workers in the communications sector have many reasons to celebrate this May 1st. We will go to the square with jubilation and joy." 

The visitors toured the facility, which included the thematic room "Fidel and Technologies for All", the Robotics classroom and the various services provided to the community.
