The Mobile Application for the National Center of Seismologic Research (CENAIS) was created by the DeSoft branch from Palma Soriano, which belongs to the IT Applications Company from Santiago de Cuba.

The Chief of that center in Palma Soriano is the engineer Elmer Yunior Reyes Matos and he was the main creator of the app. He received help from Ramon Rodriguez Usatorrez and Leandro Castellanos Rodriguez, who are both engineers as well, and they were also helped by the designer Carlos Alberto Cruz Romera.
The SismoCuba app, which was made for CENAIS, makes it easier for mobile devices to quickly access information about recorded seismologic events and learn all the data about them. It features several functionalities in relation to the users interests: Earthquakes list, Map, Perceived Quake and Report Perceived Quake.
