The second edition of the National Workshop on Safety and Health at Work began this November 22 at the Central Computing Palace with the presence of the Vice Minister of Communications Ana Julia Marine López and the official of the National Union of Communications, Informatics and Electronics Workers (SNTCIE), Silce Palma.

The first work session was opened with the screening of the Audiovisual: “Women in the communications system with responsibility and road safety, promoting the gender approach and the incorporation of female colleagues to all the activities carried out in the system.”

The event was an opportunity to share experiences and to recognize outstanding professional and non-professional drivers, mainly women, who have stood out with zero accidents.

Those attending the workshop, both on-site and through videoconference, qualified the day as: fruitful, profitable, interesting, timely, instructive and innovative, with all the seriousness it deserves.

In the conclusions, it was reiterated that we must strive to reach the goal zero work accidents.

The Second National Workshop on Occupational Safety and Health will have its last working session this Thursday, November 23.
