The Cuban President, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, along with the Cuban Ministers Council, started a governmental visit to the province of Matanzas on April 29th.

On behalf of the Communications Minister participated the First Deputy Minister, Wilfredo González Vidal.

During the tour around the province, the First Deputy Minister visited the situation room of the local government, a practical example of the implementation of e-Government in that territory. "Currently, the opinions of the population are being analyzed, and new projects are being conceived to incorporate them into territorial management", wrote the First Deputy Minister on his Twitter account.

Some of the entities of the ICT sector that were visited by him were: Etecsa, Radiocuba, Joven Club, the radio spectrum control unit and the University. In the case of the University, it was highlighted that there's a scientific and technological park in its early stages, comprising more than 30 projects and 22 involved entities. The workers from Radio Cuba, in Matanzas, are a living example of a very enthusiastic, united and professional staff. They all together upkeep a beautiful center and with extraordinary conditions, with a sense of belonging for what they do and responsibility with society, expressed the First Deputy Minister on his Twitter account.
