The Prime Minister visits the Ministry of Communications

On June 2, the Cuban Prime Minister, Manuel Marrero Cruz, visited the Ministry of Communications.

During his visit, he spoke with officials and workers about the matters linked to the participation of the Communication System in the fight against COVID-19, and also in the work projections in the field of computerization and the knowledge on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

The Prime Minister wrote the following words on his Twitter account: I visited the facilities of @MINCOMCuba, and I was able to see the work done by its officials and workers to ensure the development and sustainability of the services that are offered to the population in the context of #COVID19. #CubaInformatiza

On behalf of the Ministry, the Communications Minister stated on Twitter that: The Prime Minister @MMarreroCruz visited @MINCOMCuba today. He contemplated the strategic importance of our sector, the necessity of continuing the development of telecommunications and the need of fostering knowledge on the use of the Internet and cyber-security by the population #Cuba #CubaInformatiza
