Position changes approved at the Ministry of Communications

In February, the Personnel Committee of the Ministry of Communications approved the movements of positions corresponding to the General Directorates of Communications and Technological Development.

Manuel Zayas Martínez, who was Director of Radio Frequency, was promoted to Director General of Communications.

Manuel Zayas Martínez has a degree in Telecommunications Engineering and extensive work experience. He is a colleague who has had an ascending career through different positions at MINCOM, in which he has obtained good results in the performance of his duties. He has represented the Ministry in international events.

Niurka Arriete Hernández was moved to the position of Director of Radio Frequency. She previously held the position of Director of Technological Development.

Niurka Arriete Hernández holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering and a Master's Degree in Radio-communications. She has more than 30 years of uninterrupted work experience in the field of Radio-communications, specializing in Communications. She also acted as advisor to the Vice Minister of Communications and was later appointed Director of Technological Development with satisfactory results as part of her qualification.

Yoandy Lazo Alvarado was promoted to the position of Director of Technological Development. He was a "B" Specialist in Computer Science at the National Center for Software Quality (CALISOFT).

Yoandy Lazo Alvarado holds several awards for his work results, with a wide training in Quality Management and Knowledge Management. He is the author of publications in the Cuban Journal of Computer Science, the Journal of Technological R & D, and the in Memories of the XIV International Convention and Fair, Informática 2011.
