The members of the National Committee of the Communications, Informatics and Electronics Union elected Erlin Rondon Cedeño as the new general secretary of the workers' organization.

Rondon Cedeño occupied the top leadership of this union in the province of Granma and at the meeting the merits of the union leader were mentioned.
