Ministry of Communications congratulates the Center of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology on the occassion of the 35th anniversary of its creation

The Minister of Communications, Mayra Arevich Marín granted an award to the Center of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology in acknowledgment of the 35th anniversary of their creation, remarking that: "Their high scientific and technical potential directly contributes toward the nation’s social and economic growth. They are renowned by their sovereignty in the creation and production of vaccines, Abdala is a major achievement in the fight against COVID-19."

During the ceremony, the Minister of Communications, accompanied by the Vice Minister, Grisel Reyes León, and other officials from the Correos de Cuba Business Group, along with the Directorate of the Center of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, attended the cancellation of a postal stamp that will begin circulating in the nation with the title "35th Anniversary of the Center of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology."
