Minister of Communications meets with ViceMinisters in charge of the computerization process in Cuba

The Minister of Communications, Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella, evaluated the situation of the e-Government index in Cuba and exchanged ideas on the results obtained by our country in the evaluation of that index, which is carried out by the United Nations every two years.

The activity was attended by the Vice-Ministers in charge of the computerization of the agencies, and the achievements in the payment of public services, with the use of digital gateways, such as electricity, communications, gas, water and taxes, as well as the possibility of applying online for Birth, Death and Marriage Certificates, stood out. The online services questionnaire was also presented, as well as its current situation regarding the computerization availability, the responsibility of each organization and the projection of actions to move forward in this process. Complying with the established hygienic and sanitary measures, the meeting pointed out in a direction .
