Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministry of Communications of Cuba and the Federal Institute of Telecommunications of Mexico

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Communications of the Republic of Cuba and the Federal Institute of Telecommunications of Mexico within the framework of the World Conference for the Development of Communications held in Kigali, Uganda.

The objective is to establish a framework for technical and institutional cooperation to face current and future challenges in telecommunications and broadcasting, with the purpose of contributing to the development of Mexico and Cuba, based on the legal regulations in force in each country.

The memorandum addresses, among others, areas such as technological and regulatory convergence; infrastructure development; universal access to telecommunications services; efficient management and control of the radio spectrum; broadband development policies; and the ICT industry.

This memorandum is proof of the excellent state of relations between #Mexico and #Cuba.
