So far, 270 national and foreign papers have been received from 14 countries, 48 conferences will be given and the main panel will be "Cuba, towards digital transformation".

Knowing the state of the art on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) nationally and internationally and promoting scientific exchanges on experiences and results associated with the technologies are among the objectives of Informática 2022, which will be held from March 21 to 25.

The event -with virtual and on-site format- will also promote the national industry of computer applications and services, its capacities and integration with other forms of management, the use of technologies for productive chaining and the export possibilities in this activity.

Magda Brito D'Toste, general director of organization, planning and information of the Ministry of Communications, said that Informática 2022 is also designed to recognize at the national level the results in the implementation of the informatization of society and the use of technologies in support of the country's economy and the well-being of the citizen.
The official added that, unlike previous editions, the scientific convention will have nine events dedicated, generally speaking, to the debate on the software industry; electronic commerce and digital contents; geomatics; computer science and security.

She remarked that so far 270 national and foreign papers have been received from 14 countries, 48 conferences will be given and the main panel will be "Cuba, towards digital transformation".
Likewise, the contest "Panorama de las TIC en Cuba" will be retaken and the winners, which will be published the week prior to the event, will make up the Cuba Stand that will be in the Palacio de las Convenciones and in the Fevexpo virtual platform, developed by Desoft.

On the other hand, Ariadne Plasencia Castro, president of the Informatics and Communications Business Group, commented that the Fair aims at promoting productive linkages between state sector entities and non-state management forms.

Likewise, applications, solutions and services of electronic government, electronic commerce, cybersecurity, electronics, automation and robotics and digital contents will be presented, as well as the state of the art of IT development in the country and in the world.

The business round will be the space to negotiate with other relevant actors of the Cuban and foreign digital transformation, allowing you to establish alliances and expand your commercial networks to new markets. The business forum will present solutions in the modalities of commercial conferences, workshops and other activities that allow the exchange and exhibition of new results, in addition to the exhibition where about 50 exhibitors will present their brands, services and solutions to professionals, leaders and entrepreneurs of the ICT sector.

Plasencia Castro emphasized that virtuality is not a limitation within the Fair or the event itself, but constitutes an alternative and a possibility to show opportunities and potentialities of ICT specialists.
