The Ministry of Communications, this January 15, congratulates scientists and science professionals in Cuba.

On a day like today, during the celebration of the twentieth anniversary of the Speleological Society of Cuba, in the auditorium of the Academy of Medical, Physical and Natural Sciences of Havana (current headquarters of the National Museum of History of Science and Technology), Commander in Chief Fidel Castro delivered a historic speech in which he emphasized: "The future of our homeland must necessarily be a future of men of science, of men of thought." This date has been chosen to commemorate Cuban Science Day.

The Minister of Communications, Mayra Arevich Marín, from her official account on X wrote: "Because a country has a future (...) to the same extent that the knowledge of technology and science are available to workers!" #Fidel Happy #CubanScienceDay! Admiration and pride for our scientists, for their achievements in the service of the people.
