On March 1, 1756, by decree of the Spanish Crown, the Cuban Post Office was created, becoming the second oldest public service in the country, after the firefighters.

Today, on its 267th anniversary, the Communications system congratulates all the workers who work in Correos de Cuba.

Cuba's Minister of Communications, Mayra Arevich Marín, from her personal Twitter account tweeted: Congratulations to the workers of @CorreosdeCuba, on its 267th Anniversary. The Cuban postal service is a priority in the digital transformation process. We count on you, #CorreosDeCuba, committed team #AlServicioDeTodos #MejorEsPosible.
