The second governmental visit to Camagüey by the Cuban President, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, continued on June 13th. He was accompanied by the Council of Ministers.

During the governmental visit to Camagüey, the Minister of Communications, Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella, visited the Territorial Division of DESOFT in that locality.

During his tour around the facilities of the Communications system, he spoke with Radiocuba's workers about the progress of the implementation of the Digital Terrestrial Television program. He also supervised the expansion of the mobile telephony and Internet infrastructure, cyber-security, and the increase in bandwidth of educational and social institutions.

In a conversation with professors and computer science students from the Máximo Gómez Center, he exchanged information about cultural paradigms and the Internet, the training they receive, their insertion in local projects, and the defense of our national values in cyberspace.

At the University of Camagüey, accompanying the Cuban president, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, Perdomo Di-Lella participated in the debate on ideas and cooperation projects with entities from different sectors: information technology, communications, tourism, agriculture, construction, industry, energy, and others.

When visiting ETECSA, the Minister of Communications reviewed the management of mobile services and the assembling of 30 new Radio Bases that will solve the traffic problems in the municipality of Camagüey.
