Beijing, April 29th. This morning, at the seat of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, the Minister of Communications of Cuba, Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella held a fruitful exchange with his counterpart Mr. Miao Wei.

Both ministers reviewed the state of relations, between the two countries, in terms of collaboration in the field of telecommunications, and information and communication technologies. The Cuban minister remarked the reciprocal support between China and Cuba regarding their common interests in the international arena.

During this meeting were analyzed the status and the strengthening of bilateral collaboration for the development of broadband telecommunications infrastructure, the connectivity and mobile telephony in Cuba. They also discussed the migration program from analogue TV to digital TV, as well as the projects linked to cybersecurity.

Minister Perdomo was accompanied by Miguel Angel Ramírez, Cuban Ambassador to the People's Republic of China, and by other members of the delegation
