On Monday, the Cuban Telecommunications Company (ETECSA) presented new offers for the website hosting service to natural persons.

For the most used platform by clients (UNIX/Linux), the "Professional", "Gigasitio" and "Extrasitio" plans are presented with more attractive rates: 1.50 CUC, 5.00 CUC, and 8.00 CUC monthly fee, respectively. A new plan called "Premium" with a monthly fee of 12.00 CUC, with a total capacity of 10 GB was also launched.

This service began last April, after a trial that started in 2018. During these three operating months, ETECSA has maintained constant monitoring of its performance and the experiences of the clients who hired it. Based on these results and taking into account the available hosting capacities in the Data Center, the offers currently marketed have been redesigned, proposing new plans, which are more attractive regarding price and capacity.

The Web Hosting service in ETECSA's Data Center allows the holders to manage their websites free of charge from home and national public access points, and to have ensured the protection and stability of the website's performance. It also makes it easier for Internet users to access these sites with cheaper rates, using national navigation accounts (0.10 CUC / hour) from public access points.
