As part of the neighborhood transformation program with the entities and factors of the community of Fanguito, in the municipality of Plaza de la Revolución, this April 6, the ceremony to grant new houses to six families was held in the presence of Luis Antonio Torres Iribar, First Secretary of the PCC in Havana, Reinaldo García Zapata, Governor of Havana and Ana Julia Marine López, Vice Minister of Communications.

Excited and grateful, the beneficiary families received the keys of their houses from the hands of the First Secretary of the PCC Provincial and the Governor of Havana.

Vulnerable families, who lived in very deteriorated houses on the banks of the Almendares River, many years ago, begin today a new life, in comfortable houses, as part of the program of transformation of the neighborhood.
Humble families, who are realizing their dream of decent housing, invite us to return to their homes, where we are always welcome.

The new homes that are being built are beautiful, spacious and airy.

The six families benefiting from the new houses joined the support forces of the Cuban Telecommunications Company (Etecsa) and the construction brigades working in the neighborhood to demolish their old houses on the banks of the Almendares River, where a new project of social and environmental impact for the community will be born.
