The Cuban collaborative encyclopedia, EcuRed, released on December 14, 2010, turns 8 years old next December 14. Every year, since the EcuRed Collaborators Festival in 2012, in which participants meet in order to debate topic related to the encyclopedia itself and exchange about future projects.
EcuRed is the most visited Cuban website, it receives over 250,000 hits a day, steadily demonstrating the growing interest of the national and international public in the articles that are published there.
This year, the Technological Park of the University of Matanzas will host the main activities, in addition to a video-conference, and Facebook live session altogether with its collaborators.
