In the General Assembly Hall, 31 speakers took the floor yesterday to explain the reasons why their States and international organizations voted against the unjust and genocidal policy that the United States has imposed on Cuba during six decades of hostility.

The economic, commercial and financial blockade was described by the representatives of the countries as anachronistic, unjust, terrorist, as a violation of human rights, of the principles ratified in the Charter of the United Nations, of multilateralism and the good faith of the peoples. Everyone agreed on the need to eliminate it.

On Thursday, first the debate will continue, then each Member State (193 at present) will exercise its right to vote. More than ten speeches are planned. The Cuban Chancellor, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, will provide the finishing touch with his speech.

On 27 consecutive occasions, the largest of the Antilles has presented the draft resolution against the US blockade to the United Nations General Assembly and has received overwhelming support from the international community. Today won't be a different occasion. The Cuban victory is infallible.
