Cuba participates in the 4th edition of the China International Import Expo

The Cuban Minister of Communications, Mayra Arevich Marín, participates virtually in the opening ceremony of the 4th China International Import Expo (CIIE).

The country will be present with a virtual pavilion representing the progress achieved in biotechnology and goods, cultural, tourism, health and agriculture services and e-commerce, aimed at the export market.

In this edition Cuba will present its participation in the JD.com e-commerce platform, consolidated as one of the most important in the Asian country.

China is an important trade partner of Cuba and is present in almost all sectors of Cuba's economic and social life.

In his keynote speech, Chinese President Xi Jinping highlighted China's achievements in the world economy, its commitment to strengthen multilateralism, international cooperation, trade development, green economy, foreign direct investment, carbon reduction, strengthen South-South cooperation and generate benefits to the world.

The 4th China International Import Expo will take place from November 5 to 10 in the city of Shanghai.
