Cuba celebrates National Cybersecurity Day

From November 21 to 26 Cuba celebrates the National Cybersecurity Day with the political will of #CybersecurityForAll.  A computerized society, increasingly present in cyberspace, requires and defends its security.

Cybersecurity constitutes a priority for the Cuban State in all areas of society.

On the subject, the Deputy Minister of Communications, Grisel Reyes León wrote on her official Facebook account: #Cuba Today begins the National Day of #Cybersecurity, a strategic and essential axis to advance in the #transformaciondigital (digital transformation). Several activities will be carried out to strengthen the awareness of the Cuban population about the critical, safe and responsible use of ICT. #CybersecurityForAll #CubaForLife

For his part, the Deputy Prime Minister of Cuba, Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella expressed from his official Twitter account: We carried out this week the National Cybersecurity Day: scientific activities, technical workshops, conferences, communication program in media and networks, etc. Learning in this field is necessary to advance in the digital transformation of #Cuba #CybersecurityForAll.

The Ministry of the Internal Affairs of Cuba, on its official Twitter account posted: National Cybersecurity Day begins this Monday, a space that calls us to concrete actions from a renewing and mobilizing perspective with the participation of all and for all. #CybersecurityForAll.

Mayra Arevich Marín, Minister of Communications, on her personal Twitter account posted: We celebrate National Cybersecurity Day in #Cuba, from November 21 to 26. Computerization develops to the same extent that we develop cybersecurity capabilities for telecommunications services and infrastructure. #CybersecurityForAll.
