On April 16, during the meeting about COVID-19, which is presided over by the Cuban President, Miguel Diaz-Canel the Minister of Communications, Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella, informed that, from a technical viewpoint, a new application is ready to be used on smartphones, through which citizens will be able to perform self-inquiries about COVID-19. He added that the application, which was developed at the Computer Science University with the help of the ministries of Public Health and Communications, is basically an epidemiological inquiry that is later sent by the users to their corresponding polyclinics and thus, provides the Health System with essential information.

The Public Health Ministry explains by means of its website that such inquiry is designed to obtain information about the population's health conditions, as an addition to the active inquiry process carried out by the health system as part of the context of the epidemiological fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

To make use of that platform you must be 18 years old or older and in full legal capacity. You are fully responsible for the veracity of the information provided through this app. The information of the users will only be analyzed by the health system and by completing the inquiry you express your compliance with the use of the information that you provided.
