The Technical Budgetary Unit for the Control of the Radioelectric Spectrum (UPTCER), a budgetary entity attached to the Ministry of Communications, today celebrates its 29th anniversary. Congratulations to its workers throughout the country for their daily dedication to guarantee the sovereignty of the radioelectric spectrum to the Cuban State, and to manage the process of permits associated with telecommunication/ICT systems and services.

The UPTCER are located in the provinces of the country and in the special municipality Isla de la Juventud and have the mission of executing the control of the radio electric spectrum, the implementation of measures for its protection and defense, and the process of licenses, permits and authorizations.

On the occasion of the anniversary of the UPTCER, the Minister of Communications from her Twitter account wrote: Congratulations to the workers of the #UPTCER, on its 29th Anniversary! Your work to ensure the sovereignty of the radio spectrum is of vital importance; in addition to the services to the population associated with the #TIC #CubaInformatiza.
