Every June 8 #Cuba celebrates the day of the worker from the legal sector, in tribute to the fact that on that date, but in 1865, Ignacio Agramante y Loynaz finished his thesis to receive his degree in Civil and Canon Law. In it he proposed an alliance between order and freedom, as a representation of the harmony of the interests and actions of individuals among themselves, and obtained the qualification of Outstanding, in the Faculty of Law of the University of Havana. The date was proposed by Dr. José Gómez Quintero to the National Bar Association.

"El Mayor", as Cubans call him, was a man of his time who was among the first to join the fight against Spanish colonialism in the fields of the Island, put aside his material wealth, became one of the most shrewd insurrectionist military chiefs and gave his life in holocaust. As a jurist, he participated in the drafting of the first constitution of Cuba en Armas, that of Guáimaro and was elected secretary of the constituent assembly. He fell defending his homeland on May 11, 1873 in the fields of Jimaguayú.

The workers of the Ministry of Communications join in the congratulations to the jurists of Cuba for such noble and necessary work that they perform every day.

Many congratulations to the jurists of #Cuba, especially to those who work in the system of Communications!!!!
