The computerization of the Public Records moves forward

The Cuban Ministry of Communications exchanged information with the Cuban Ministry of Justice about the reorganization and computerization of the Public Records through a video-conference, they were able to verify that progress has been made as a result of their joint efforts.

The Minister of Justice, Oscar Silvera Martinez, wrote on his Twitter account: Today, through a video-conference, we assessed the computerization of the Public Records: 8,543,611 pages on the database and 98 records are already on the Bienestar platform from the company XETID. Several measures are being approved with the Directors of Justice to move forward. #MinjusInformatiza https://t.co/3BwWh5VFTX

Meanwhile, the First Deputy Minister of Communications, Wilfredo Gonzalez Vidal, stated on Twitter that: The Computerization of the Civil Status Records is essential for the procedures and services focused on the citizens of #Cuba, computerizing that process creates the conditions to achieve greater quality and a better use of the time by the population. #CubaInformatiza”

The goals of the Policy for the Creation of the Public Records System in the Republic of Cuba are to improve all the activities linked to the public records in the nation based on essential principles such as integration, safety, and the elimination of unnecessary procedural steps when providing the population with those services.
