The 2021 Meteoro Exercise was carried out respecting the epidemiological measures established in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through a video-conference,the measures to reduce disaster risks when facing the hurricane season were reviewed.

The communications assurance organization evaluated the preparation and prevention actions to determine the measures that should be implemented to face natural disasters in the current epidemiological situation, which is complex.

In the 35th anniversary of the Meteoro Exercise, the communications system readies itself to preserve the functioning of the infrastructures of telecommunication, the radio and TV network, the services and applications, and the technical assurance in the face of disasters. Being proactive is essential at the time of minimizing the impact of disasters.
