On May 27, at the headquarters of the National Cuban Workers' Union, the commemorative postal cancellation of the Labor Day stamp took place as a tribute to the Day dedicated to the Working Class around the Globe.

The image that was used is the stamp that circulated in 2014, which is titled “Primero de Mayo, Día Internacional de los Trabajadores” (May the First, International Labor Day).

The design of the stamp is essentially a collage of pictures from different activities that are performed in the working environment, which were artistically placed to form a number one.

The ceremony was carried out following by the social distancing measures that are necessary in this historic moment that our country is going through, in which Cubans are facing the Covid-19 pandemic, and the strengthening of the economic, financial and commercial blockade of the USA against our nation.
