During the final session of the 8th Workshop of Citizen Attention, Consumer Protection, Institutional Communications and Quality from the Ministry of Communications, CALIPROT 2018, a commemorative postal cancellation on the occasion of the 85th birthday of Ernesto ''Che'' Guevara.

The postal issue was designed by Ricardo Monnar. The image on the stamp reproduces the monument to Che, erected in the square as bearing the title of Guerrillero Heroico, in the city of Santa Clara.

This commemorative postal cancellation is dedicated to Ernesto Guevara as a pioneer of quality in Cuba.

The ceremony was presided over by Jose Perez Bazan, General Director of Defense and Security from the Ministry of Communications; Raul Antonio Capote Fernandez, Director of Institutional Communication from the Ministry of Communications; and Mario Suarez Naranjo, Commercial Director of Correos de Cuba.
