Caliprot2022: Towards a more inclusive digital transformation

The panel was in charge of representatives of ANSOC, ACLIFIM, MINCOM and the coordinator of the new association in process of creation: Cuban Association of People with Intellectual Disabilities (ACPDI).

The first day of conferences of the X Edition of the Workshop on Citizen Service, Consumer Protection, Institutional Communication and Quality of the Ministry of Communications, Caliprot 2022, took place yesterday, October 26.

With the presentation of 5 conferences and a panel on good practices, progress and challenges for a more inclusive digital transformation.

Among the speakers were Grisel Reyes León, Deputy Minister of Communications; María del Carmen Cedeño Rodríguez, Head of the Department of Attention to the Population of the Palace of the Revolution; Eugenio Fernando Acosta Noy, Leader of the Local Development Project Facilitation Office for the Payment of Taxes in the Historical Center of Havana; Julio Antonio García Trápaga, Leader of Transfermóvil and Celia María Soulary Reyes, from Mipyme Dofleini.

The opening remarks were delivered by the Vice Minister of Communications, Grisel Reyes León, who highlighted the importance of this meeting after two years in which COVID 19 prevented it from being held in person.

Caliprot 2022 invites to reflect on the projections and challenges of the sector for the digital inclusion of people with special needs, to generate more effective and concrete results in Cuban society in the use of disruptive technologies.
